Last Minute Gift Idea: Gift In A Jar

The whole "Gift In A Jar" thing has been doing the rounds of Pinterest for years, but today I thought I'd show you my quick and easy version of it.

Whilst on one of my many trips to Kmart, I found these adorable mason jar mugs for $2 each - so I stocked up on them, knowing that I could use these as the jars in the "Gift In a Jar" idea I was planning. Seriously though, you could use whatever jars you have lying around the house. Old jam jars that have been cleaned out would be perfect.

When it comes to deciding what to put inside these, it's completely up to you. Try to keep in mind who you're going to be gifting these to - and tailor it to what they like. Mine are for the ladies in the family, so I knew I wanted them to be filled with little beauty products.

I somehow manage to collect an abundance of sample and travel-sized products throughout the year (which is probably evident of all the online shopping I do), so I thought I'd gather a bunch of the nicer ones I have and pair them with a few things I've bought recently.

Then all you need to do is carefully arrange the products inside the jar, put the lid back on, and top it with some pretty ribbon & string - done! Super easy, and super cute - with the option of being as personalised as you want them to be. They can also be super affordable, I think these cost me less than $10 each, including the jar!

Do you have any last minute gift ideas?
